People of Qamishlo: KDP should not make itself tool to achieve Turkish goals

The demonstrators gathered at the Gulf Roundabout on Corniche Street, holding banners that read, "Your path is our path and your goal is our goal, and “Guerilla is the future and dignity of Kurdistan", in addition to holding pictures of the leader Ocalan, and the pictures of the martyrs of freedom and chanting slogans.

The marchers stopped at the end of the Corniche Street, they stood for a minute of silence, then the administrator of the Democratic Society Movement, Ayed Ibrahim, delivered a speech, in which he said: “Just as our sons were able to win in Gara, and the Turkish state was defeated there, today they resist in the Kurdistan mountains, too.”

Al-Ibrahim referred to the KDP’s betrayal, saying: “Unfortunately, the scenario of betrayal is repeated: after the Turkish occupation failed to occupy the Guerilla regions, KDP forces made themselves shields to protect the interests of the Turkish state.”

Al-Ibrahim noted: "Betrayal is not born today, but dates back to the nineties when they attacked the freedom fighters, but in the end the freedom fighters won." Al-Ibrahim called on the Kurdistan Democratic Party to stop protecting Turkey's interests and goals.

Then the march was concluded by chanting slogans saluting the resistance of Guerilla, and denouncing the assassination of the martyr Deniz Poyraz in Izmir.
