​​​​​​​Shady Al-Ibrahim: Attacks on legitimate defense zones are public assault on neighborhood

Since the 23^rd of last April, the Turkish occupation army has launched genocidal and occupational attacks on the legitimate defense zones (Medya) in Başûr Kurdistan.

Concerning these areas, Shadi Al-Ibrahim, says that "they are characterized by a diverse geographical and demographic nature of Kurds, Arabs, Assyrians and others, and this matter increased the Turkish occupation's attempts, projects and colonial plans in them."

He noted that the Turkish occupation state "exploited extremist factions, including ISIS" in its plans and repeated attacks on the legitimate defense zones.

Al-Ibrahim considered the attacks on the legitimate defense zones as "a public inhumane penetration and an illegal attack on the borders of neighboring countries."

In the context of his speech, Al-Ibrahim touched on the attempts of the Turkish occupation state to sow and spread discord, incite the Kurdish street against each other, and destabilize the region, noting that "Turkey seeks to weaken the Autonomous Administration."

He also focused on Turkey's efforts to strike stability, stressing that stability will not prevail in the region unless the Turkish occupation state stops its practices and crimes.

Al-Ibrahim concluded his speech by saying: "The Turkish occupation will not achieve its goal in our areas because of the awareness, will of the peoples who pursue the democratic nation, and all Erdogan plans will fail, thus matters will be on their right track, and we will witness stability, international recognition of the Autonomous Administration and all the areas led by the people's will."
