​​​​​​​Bedran Çiya Kurd reveals to ANHA outcomes of a U.S. delegation meeting

A U.S. State Department delegation headed deputy assistant Joey Hood, Aimee Cutrona and Zehra Bell Director for Iraq and Syria paid a visit to North Eastern Syria according to the State Department yesterday.

It was stated that the delegation went on May 16^th to North Eastern Syria to meet commanders and officials in the SDF as  well as officials in the Syria's Demoxcratic Council and tribal chiefs and notables. According to AANES officials two separate meeting were held the delegation  one with SDF and SDC and the another with AANES and the Raqqa Civil Council.

Commenting on the meetings that were held behind closed doors, and relevant to the U.S strategy towards Syria, more specifically towards North Eastern Syria, deputy co-chairmanship of the AANES Bedran Çiya Kurdwas interviewed by ANHA who said that support to the SDF and the AANES was ''renewed by the U.S. delegation in the fight against ISIS and to consolidate peace and security in the region on humanitarian and economic arenas and to de-escalate tension in the region''.

Bedran Çiya Kurd confirmed that assurance was made to continue political and military support working out to find a solution to the Syrian Crisis and that they encourage their partners to preserve peace and security in the whole region.  

In turn, Bedran Çiya Kurd confirmed that they as political and military representatives to North Eastern Syria confirmed and to stand up to political, economic and military challenges laying stress on the necessity of the U.S. support politically as it has been militarily.

Bedran Çiya Kurd went on to say that that they also stressed that all occupied areas more notably in Afrin are all undergoing mass extermination operations and on the need to terminate that and the economic challenges in the aftermath of lowering water levels of the Euphrates River by Turkey.

Bedran Çiya Kurdsaid that it was confirmed that all ISIS activitie4s in the region lately are emanating from areas under Turkish occupation and from the Syrian Desert and that working on that should go on.

Bedran Çiya Kurd noted that this visit is the very first of it's kind to the region, stressing at the end that all efforts that run to find a political solution meets all Syrians aspiration won't be real unless all these are met otherwise crisis will go on more complicated.
