On Monday, the Israeli army spokesman, Avichai Adrai, announced in a statement posted on his official Twitter account that the air force began the exercises on Sunday under the supervision of Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Amikam Norkin.

He pointed out that today an active movement of planes and helicopters will be observed throughout Israel, in addition to the sounds of explosions in the region, and the exercises are expected to end on Wednesday.

In addition, according to Adrai, the exercise simulates combat scenarios on the northern front, so that all formations of the Israeli Air Force will train for their basic tasks, including maintaining air superiority and defense, in addition to offensive missions, information monitoring, and intelligence missions.

The exercise will include planning, control and implementation processes, in addition to raising logistical and technological capabilities, with a focus on air operation freedom and full functional continuity.

These maneuvers came a week after the launch of a multi-arm exercise for the army in the north of the country to enhance its preparedness.
