Intra Kurdish talks resume again

Kurdish National Unity Parties and the Kurdish National Council are to start a new round of U.S. backed talks the third of it's type by the initiative launched by Mazlum Abdi, Commander -In - Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, late in 2019.

This comes after Mazlum Abdi tweeted on January 31^st, 2021, that '' our aim for the ENKS and PYNK talks is to meet success, it is everybody's duty to prepare for the new phase in coming days''. 

According to observers, this one is the most difficult, due to the disputes that were referred from the last phase to this one, most notably ''representation by the ENKS in the Autonomous Administration and the Roj mercenaries issue''.

According to Sama Baghdash, member in the Deliberations Committee of the Kurdish National Unity Parties, the third round is scheduled to kick off within the week, after the U.S. envoy arrived in North Eastern Syria and meeting each part separately.

On June 16^th, 2020, the PYNK and the ENKS reached an in principle understanding on the way of the Kurdish unity.

Sama said deliberations would focus on the ENKS representation in the AA and the military issue, '' the first point is to be on the agenda, while the second one, that is the military issue and entry by the Roj Peshmergha is, for us the Kurdish National Unity Parties, is to be coordinated between Kurdish National Council and the SDF.

Late in 2019, such talks were launched by Mazlum Abdi, the second round stopped in October 2019, due to the U.S. presidential elections.
