People deplore failure of guarantor's countries towards Turkish violations

For more than a month, the Turkish escalation on the regions of northeast Syria, has never stopped, targeting Ain Issa and Tal Tamr areas under the sight of the Russian "guarantor" police and the Damascus government forces on daily basis.

The Turkish occupation also weaponized water by cutting it to more than a million people in Al-Hasaka canton and Tal Tamr district and its suburbs.

These frequent crimes and violations sparked a popular wave of anger and resentment, especially after the guarantor parties shirked their responsibilities.

'The' guarantor 'forces do not fulfil their duty'

Walid Shaker from Tal Tamr, says, "Tal Tamr and its villages, have been subjected to almost daily shelling since their arrival at the outskirts of the region."

The people suffering increases day after day due to Turkish crimes, foremost of which is cutting off water for more than a million people, in light of the international silence, according to Shaker.

"The American, Russian forces, the guarantor forces, in addition to the presence of the Damascus government forces, stand by," Shaker added.

Shaker explained that Russian planes always fly overhead in the region, in a "display of Russian aircraft. But in the event of shelling, these forces cannot stop those attacks."

'Displacement and demands'

For his part, Mahmoud Amin said, "Since the arrival of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries to the outskirts of the region, the attacks have continued, accompanied by displacement."

Amin wonders about the role of Russian forces and the Damascus government forces, saying, "What do they do, if they are unable to protect the region and its people?"

She called on the "guarantor" forces to carry out their duties "as they entered the region to protect it against the Turkish crimes, and not to stand idly by."

'Attacks come within understandings'

Alaa al-Zahir said about the recent escalation: "Despite international agreements on ceasefire, the Turkish escalation continues on the Tal Tamer and Ain Issa districts, against the unarmed."

He added, "Several days ago, Turkish mercenaries attacked the village of Umm al-Kif, northwest of Tal Tamr, and clashes took place between them and the forces of the Syriac Military Council, but the Damascus government forces were standing by."

At the end of his speech, Al-Zahir stresses that "the Turkish escalation and Russian and Syrian silence that is happening in the region indicates the existence of understandings between them, and that all of them do not abide by the agreements."
