Saudi companies, institutions join to boycott campaign to Turkish products

The popular campaign boycotting Turkish products in Saudi Arabia has gained further momentum over the past few days.

Saudi institutions and companies operating in the various commercial and industrial sectors announced their joining the boycott of Turkish products in the largest response of its kind to the campaign.

The list of companies that have joined the campaign in the past two days include “Abdul Latif Furniture”, “Al Watania Market”, “Al Qafari Furniture and Carpet Group”, “Tamimi Market”, “Abdullah Al Othaim Market”, “Astra Market” and “Danube”.

The companies that announced this decision stressed that it comes in solidarity with the popular campaign to boycott Turkish products, describing this measure as a "national duty."

In continuation of the popular anger in the Arab street against the Turkish moves, the Egyptians launched a popular campaign to boycott Turkish goods, coinciding with the popular campaign that was launched in Saudi Arabia.
