Armenian journalist and diplomat, Hamo Moskovian, said that Turkey is seeking, from its intervention in the Armenian-Azeri crisis, to intervene in the Caucasus region and beyond the Caspian Sea, to form the so-called dream of the "Greater Turan", stressing that Turkey is exploiting Syrian mercenaries to achieve its dreams.
On Sunday, clashes renewed on the northern border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and Armenia said that Azerbaijan launched an attack on the mountainous Karabakh region, and the Armenian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces had shot down two Azerbaijani helicopters and three drones, blaming the leadership of Azerbaijan "fully" for what was happening.

And as a result of what happened, Armenia declared martial law in the country and general mobilization.

As usual, Turkey entered the crisis line and announced its support for Azerbaijan, after many reports had spoken during the last period of Turkey's transfer of Syrian mercenaries to Azerbaijan to fight against the Armenians who had been subjected to massacres at the beginning of the twentieth century at the hands of the Ottoman Empire, which killed about a million and a half Armenians.

In this context, Hawar news agency ANHA held an interview with the Armenian journalist and diplomat, Hamo Moskovian.

The following is the text of the interview:

* Renewed tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan, what are the reasons for this and are there external forces moving that?

There have always been tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia, but they have increased greatly in the recent period as a result of Turkish intervention by sending Syrian mercenaries to Azerbaijan, as well as hostile Turkish statements towards Armenia, so the Turkish goal of this ongoing conflict there today is to intervene in the Caucasus region, and the post-Caucasus region in order to unify The Azerbaijani Turks present in northern Iran "20 million" with the present Azerbaijan "7 million", and the creation of the Turkish state of Azerbaijan, as well as the unification of the countries that lie after the Caspian Sea that includes Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Igor China, and the formation of the so-called dream of " Great Turan."

* The Turkish statements towards Armenia were more severe than the Azerbaijani statements, why do you think?

This is due to the fact that the Azerbaijani military power is weak compared to the Armenian power, as well as the Armenians' possession of strategic relations with Russia, and that is why Turkey sent aggressive statements through its president, its foreign minister and the extreme nationalist right, as it considers itself the great father and protector of Azerbaijan, as it did in Arab countries through its support for the Brotherhood Muslims.

- Are There Turkish goals for its intervention in this conflict, or is it just revenge on the Armenians?

Turkey’s goal, since the end of the First World War, is to cross the line between NATO and the Warsaw Pact, and to activate a global crisis in order to harass Russia and Iran, as well as to control the oil in the Caspian Sea in order to realize the dream of the "new Ottoman empire" and the Armenians They are an argument for interference.

* Will Turkey initiate direct intervention or will it use its agents as it did in the countries in which it interfered?

Turkey is unable to intervene directly, because if it intervenes, Russia and the allies of Armenia, as well as Iran, as well as the Western countries will intervene, because Armenia is the only Christian country in the East, as well as the presence of a strong Armenian lobby in the West, and therefore it will intervene indirectly and in effect they are interfering, through mercenaries Syrians, and they are now waiting to know the international reactions.

* What is the danger of this intervention on the Armenians, and what is required of the world powers?

There is a risk of another genocide in Armenia, and this aggression must stop immediately and send Western military forces to defend Armenia.
