​​​​​​​Bahraini - Israeli peace agreement sponsored by the United States

 Trump tweeted on his official account on Twitter, saying: "Another historic achievement today!  .. Our great friends Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain agree on a peace agreement."

He continued, "The second Arab country to make peace with Israel in 30 days!", Referring to the peace agreement concluded by the UAE with Israel.

A joint US-Bahraini-Israeli statement said that US President Donald Trump, Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke today, and it was agreed to establish full diplomatic relations between Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The statement continued, "This is a historic breakthrough to promote peace in the Middle East. Opening dialogue and direct relations between these two dynamic societies and advanced economies will continue the positive transformation of the Middle East and increase stability, security and prosperity in the region."

In the statement, the United States expressed its "gratitude" to the Kingdom of Bahrain for hosting the historic Peace for Prosperity workshop in Manama on June 25, 2019, "for the sake of advancing the cause of peace, dignity, and economic opportunities for the Palestinian people."

The statement added: "The two parties will continue their efforts in this regard to reach a just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, to enable the Palestinian people to realize their full potential."

For its part, Israel affirmed that "as stipulated in the Vision for Peace, all Muslims who come in peace can visit and pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and other holy sites in Jerusalem will remain open to peaceful worshipers of all religions."

The King of Bahrain and the Prime Minister of Israel expressed their "deep appreciation to President Trump for his dedication to peace in the region, his focus on common challenges, and the pragmatic and unique approach he took to bring their countries together."

According to the statement, the Kingdom of Bahrain accepted Trump's invitation to join Israel and the United Arab Emirates, in the "historic signing ceremony" on September 15, 2020, at the White House, where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdul Latif Al-Zayani will be.
