Official Israeli TV quoted official government sources as saying that the normalization agreement between the UAE and Israel will be officially signed next Tuesday, on September 15, in an event that will be held under the auspices of US President Donald Trump.

The event will be attended by the Israeli prime minister, while the UAE will be represented by its foreign minister, Abdullah bin Zayed, who is also the brother of Abu Dhabi's crown prince, Mohammed bin Zayed.

Netanyahu said, "I am proud to go to Washington next week, at the invitation of President Trump, to attend the historic ceremony at the White House and to sign the peace agreement between Israel and the UAE."

Israeli sources had revealed that Trump's advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner was pressing Mohammed bin Salman to participate in the signing ceremony.

Meanwhile, the head of the Emirati Defense and Foreign Relations Committee, Ali Al-Nuaimi, said that the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, will visit Israel soon, without specifying the date of the visit.
