People of Afrin canton express their solidarity with resistance of Haftanin

The demonstrators gathered in front of the Al-Ahdath district center in al-Shahba canton, carrying banners that read: "Death for the betrayal, long live the resistance of Haftanin," chanting slogans saluting the resistance of Haftanin and denouncing the attacks of the occupiers.

The demonstrators stood for a minute of silence, followed by a speech by a member of the council of the district Rasheed in which he considered that the resistance of the people in al-Shahba is part of the resistance of Haftanin: “Along the Kurdish territories, there is resistance. Today In al-Shahba we see resistance and steadfastness of Afrin people for the sake of liberating their territories. This resistance is part of the resistance of Haftanin, through which the People Defense Forces are waging an unparalleled struggle.

Rashid added, "The Turkish occupation army is trying to occupy all parts of Kurdistan, but our solidarity with our people in Kurdistan will prevent this."

For her part, the administrator of the Kongra Star Coordination, Hasna Hassan, explained the objectives of the occupier of his attacks on Kurdistan: “Today the occupier does not only attack Haftanin, but many attacks that take place against us, in various ways, including the special war, but our awareness of the enemy's plans through the training we have received fails all of these plots. "

Hassan concluded her speech by saying: "Let the enemy know that we will not surrender. Rather, we will resist regardless of our circumstances."

The demonstration ended with chanting slogans saluting the resistance of the PeopDefense Forces in Haftanin.
