Future Syria Party holds its second general conference tomorrow

• Tomorrow the Future Syria Party will hold its second general conference, and in this regard, a member of the Preparatory Committee, Ali Al-Hamidi, made a statement about the conference and the reason for its delay.

At the beginning of his speech, he said: “After the first conference was held, and a general council was formed, from which a preparatory committee was formed, the committee began its work on the internal system and the party program, proposing ideas, discussing them and sending them to the councils of regions and sub-districts to amend them, then forming committees to follow-up the sub-district conferences, and confirmed that the conferences proceeded according to what was planned according to the democratic situation.

 He explained that due to the Coronavirus pandemic, work was halted to prepare for the General Conference, which led to the prolongation of the preparations period, and the reduction of the number of delegates to 315 members from all regions of North, East and Syria.

 On the stages of the conference’s work, Ali Al-Hamidi said, in the first phase, the conference starts its work with a welcoming speech, interspersed with a presentation of a cinematic film of the party’s work process, and an overview of the life of the martyr General Security of the Future Syria Party, Havrin Khalaf, then the speech of the party’s president, Ibrahim al-Qaftan, and I read the directives issued by the General Council,  Also, there will be a word for the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

 In the second phase, the party continues its work through the bureau, and the electoral process is conducted to elect a party president, either through the consensual state or through the ballot box, and to elect a party secretary general in addition to the members of the General Council and members of the Discipline Office.
