Russian jets shell De-escalation zone

Russian warplanes continue to bombard the so-called "De-escalation" zone, resulting in a civilian loss of life.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights SOHR monitoring the situation from Britain monitored the continuation of intense air strikes on the area called "De-escalation".

Russian warplanes launched about 15 strikes from after midnight Monday - Tuesday until dawn today, targeting areas in Kansafra, Billion, al-Barah, al-Mawzara, al-Fateera, Kafr Aweid, and other areas in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside.

According to the observatory, the bombing resulted in a civilian loss of life in Billion village and the wounding of various others.

The Russian airplanes carried out about 30 raids yesterday, targeting areas such as Kansafra, Kafr Aweid, al-Mawzara, Sufouh, Kofken, and Ain Laruz in Idlib countryside, al-Fateera, al-Manara, al-Zakum and the axes of al-Ghab Plain in the northwestern countryside of Hama.

Also, yesterday, the regime forces stationed in Idlib countryside bombed the village of al-Ruwaihah and Harash village of Benin, south of Idlib, and the villages and areas of Jabal al-Zawiya and al-Ghab Plain, which caused fires in al-Ghab Plain.
