New joint patrol in ad-Darbasiyah, Russian soldiers attempted to confiscate journalists’ cameras

This morning, a joint patrol was conducted between the Russian military police and the Turkish occupation forces in ad-Darbasiyah district, starting from Sherkeh village, 13 km west of ad-Darbasiyah district.

During the joint patrol, the Russian military police prevented the journalists from pursuing their work photographing the patrol, and attempted to confiscate their cameras.

The videos and photos taken by the correspondent of “Hawar” news agency covering the patrol shows how the Russian military police proceeded to prevent the journalists from carrying out their work, among them our reporter.

The patrol included 8 armored vehicles, four for each side. They went through the villages of “Qermani, Ghenamiya, Jdeidah, Tel Tair, Khaska Badina, Mudawar, Khashifiya, Khanki, Hamdoun, Kharaza and al-Jawhariyah.”

After the patrol ended, the Turkish occupation’s armored vehicles returned to the Turkish lands and the Russian armored vehicles towards Qamishlo city.
