Al-Fateh alliance: Al-miri will not take over PMF presidency

The coalition said in a press statement yesterday that "Al-Amiri and in view of the requirements of the stage and the necessities of the current situation decided to resign from the membership of Parliament, and nominate an alternative to it is Abdul Karim Al-Ansari to be part of al-Fateh bloc and from the system of supervisory work so that parliament proceeds to exercise its supervisory role with all its members."

He added that "Al-Amiri has been keen since the beginning of the current legislative session to participate in the important sessions, but the decision to resign is due to his preoccupation with many political issues that stood in front of his attendance at the parliament sessions."

The Al-Fateh Alliance confirmed that "Al-Amiri did not and will not take over the Presidency of the Popular Mobilization Body or any other executive position, and he continues to be the leader of al-Fateh Alliance.

Yesterday, Al-Fateh leader Hadi al-Amiri submitted his resignation from the membership of the House of Representatives, while information indicated that the reason for his resignation was due to his assumption of the position of head of the Popular Mobilization Body.
