Hearing Kurdish songs in Turkey might cost one’s life

A Kurdish youth was killed, on Sunday, in a suburb of the Turkish capital, Ankara, after he was attacked by three Turkish youths, and beaten because of his "hearing of Kurdish songs."

The young man Barish Çakan (20 years old) was found dead yesterday at 22:30 (local time) in Ankara," the source "Mesopotamia" quoted a source as saying.

Parish is from "Panos" area of the city of "Agri".

According to "Mesopotamia", Barish was sitting with his friends in a garden listening to Kurdish songs, "to attack three young Turkish men."

The three young men attacked the Kurdish youth with knives, and the body was taken to a hospital in Ankara.
