9 dead, including a leader in a series of HRE operations

The Afrin Liberation Forces continue their operations against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the occupied areas that extend from Jarablus to Afrin, and about their operations in the last ten days, the Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE)issued a written statement to the public opinion.

The statement HRE issued included date of its operations, and the losses it incurred to the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

The text of the statement is as follows:

On May 17th:

Our forces detonated two explosive devices separately with two groups of soldiers and mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in the Afrin region, during which two mercenaries were killed, one of them a leader called Abu Amer Tal Refaat, while it was not possible to know the number of dead and wounded among the occupation soldiers.

Our forces also carried out a military operation targeting the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in Azaz area, as it was not possible to know the number of dead and wounded among the mercenaries.

On the 18th of May:

Our forces carried out an offensive operation targeting one of the fortifications of the Turkish occupation mercenaries in the vicinity of the city of Marea, during which four occupation mercenaries were killed.

In parallel, our forces carried out a sniper attack on a mercenary of the Turkish occupation in the Al-Bab area, where he was killed instantly.

On May 19th:

Our forces detonated an explosive device on the road between the villages of Alkana and Jaqala of Shiyah district, where a mercenary was killed and another was wounded, and a military vehicle was damaged.

On May 23:

Our forces detonated an explosive device at a gathering of Turkish mercenaries, near the new bridge in the center of Afrin, where one of the mercenaries was wounded.

Our forces also carried out a sniper attack targeting a mercenary of the Turkish occupation in the vicinity of Marea, where he was killed instantly.

On the 25th of May:

Our forces detonated an explosive device near a barrier of the Turkish occupation mercenaries in the Mahmudiyah neighborhood in the center of Afrin city, where a military vehicle was destroyed and the number of dead and injured in the mercenaries was not known.

Our forces also detonated an explosive device at one of the military vehicles of the Turkish occupation mercenaries on the road between the cities of Afrin and Azaz, where they caused physical damage.

As a result of our forces ’operations, 9 mercenaries were killed, two others were wounded, and a military vehicle was destroyed and another was damaged.

During the past period, the Turkish occupation has escalated its indiscriminate shelling of civilian areas in the villages of Shahba and Afrin, where it caused extensive material damage to the crops and property of civilians. "
