Erdogan threats Syria again over Idlib

The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused the Syrian government of violating the ceasefire mechanism in the Idlib region, promising the authorities in Damascus to make them pay a heavy price if "violations continue."

"If the Syrian regime continues to violate the ceasefire in Idlib, we will make it pay a heavy price," Erdogan said in a speech on Monday.

"We will not allow the obscurantist groups to spoil the ceasefire in Idlib," he said, referring to the Syrian authorities.
