HPG: 6 Turkish soldiers killed in operation in khakurk

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces issued a written statement to the public opinion about a military operation carried out by its Guerrilla Forces against the Turkish occupation army, and Turkish air strikes in Khakurk region of the legitimate defense zones.

The statement included:

Within the revolutionary stage, in the name of the martyr Baker and the martyr Ronya, our forces carried out a military operation on April 19 at 15:15 against the Turkish occupation army stationed on Lilkan Hill in Khakurk region​​ located in the legitimate defense zones (Media), and targeted from a close distance trenches and military shelters for the Turkish enemy on the hill which led to the killing of 6 enemy soldiers, and the destruction of a surveillance camera of Mobizel kind. On the evening of the same day, the Turkish aggression army transported its killed and wounded from the region by Scorsky and Cobra helicopters.

Our unit that carried out its decisive operation returned to its bases.

The Turkish occupation state continues to launch air strikes on the legitimate defense zones, and in this context:

On April 17 at 10:00 pm, the Turkish occupation army's warplanes bombed the surrounding of ​​Derik village of Meyruk Square in Gary region and Mam Resho Square in Avashin region.

On April 20 between 04:30 and 05:30, the warplanes bombed Tel Zargala and the vicinity of Bebalan village located in Qandil region.

The bombing of the Turkish occupation did not result in any damage or losses among our Guerrilla Forces."
