KNK: Forces that went to Zînî wartê must return to their areas

In light of the developments taking place in Zînî wartê region belonging to Rawendoz district in Hawler province, Başûr ,"south Kurdistan", the two co-chairs of the Kurdistan National Conference (KNK), Zainab Murad and Ahmed Karamus sent an open letter to the President of the Kurdistan Region (KRG), Nechirvan Barzani, and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masroor Barzani, The President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Masoud Barzani, the co-chairs of Kurdistan National Union (YNK) ), Lahore Sheikhjinki and Pavel Talabani, and the co-chairs of the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) Basi Hawazat and Jamil Baek.

The text of the letter states:

"A few days ago, there was a serious clash between the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and (YNK) in Zînî wartê area. Earlier, a crisis occurred between the HPG and the Peshmerga forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), and this crisis could lead to a war and civil strife.

All Kurdish forces must recognize this fact and take a stand against the occupiers ′

The Turkish state, which is already the main enemy, exploits these conflicts, as it bombs the region, and seeks to deepen conflicts between the Kurds, and every year it occupies part of the lands of south Kurdistan, and it builds military bases in it. The Turkish state's plan is to destroy all the achievements of the Kurdish people. All Kurdish forces must recognize this fact and take a stand against the occupiers.

′ We must rise to the level of historical responsibility and take the lead ′

This situation cannot be tolerated, in order to prevent a civil war between the Kurds and preserve the gains of the Kurdish people, and such a situation can bring happiness into the hearts of the enemies, so we, as individuals, politicians, social organizations, artists, intellectuals, and academics, must rise to the level of historical responsibility We take the lead.

There is no doubt that protecting the borders of the Kurdistan region is the duty and responsibility of the regional government, of course, Kurdish political parties recognize and all Kurds recognize the government of Başûr Kurdistan as their own government, and they see it as a political and legitimate government for them, and it is their duty to protect their lands and provide support to them.

From this standpoint, the president and the Kurdistan Regional Government has a great and historical duty and responsibility, and the Kurdish parties must take responsibility and take a new dimension.

′ When the Kurdish people are in danger, partisan interests and conflicts should be abandoned ′

In this context, when the presence of the Kurdish people is at risk, the KDP ,YNK, and the PKK need to abandon their interests and party struggles, strengthen their unity to protect the gains of their people, and have common positions on a national strategy.

′ We want the forces that went to Zînî wartê to return to their previous positions ′

Above all, we want the forces that went to Zînî wartê to return to their previous positions, and to stop the hostile propaganda launched by the media. We hope that the regional government, KDP, YNK, and PKK will begin dialogue and negotiations as soon as possible, so that they can solve existing conflicts and crises, so let this be a means for our unity, and to express a position on a national strategy, only in this way can we thwart the enemy's plans that seek to destroy the gains of our people. "
