Arab newspapers: Syrian mercenaries' rebellion in Libya against Turks, new Turkish plans in Syria

On Monday morning, Arab newspapers focused on the establishment of the Turkish occupation more military bases on Syrian lands, the revolt of Turkey's mercenaries against the Turkish army in Libya, Houthi violations in Yemen.

Al-Sharq al-Awsat: Turkey is building a military base in Tel Abyad

Media outlets quoted these sources as saying that Turkey is bringing fighters from various factions in Idlib to its military sites, with the aim of establishing an army that includes the factions of what is known as the “Syrian National Army” and the “National Liberation Front" in order to dissolve Heyat Tahrir al-Sham, which includes large number of Jabhet al-Nusra, and joined it to the new army, after having failed before numerous attempts to unify the factions, whether in groups, or in joint operations rooms, the most prominent of which was the “Jaish al-Fateh”, which controlled Idlib, which consisted mainly from "Jabhet al-Nusra" and "Ahrar al-Sham" before they differed later.

The sources pointed out that the Turkish plan aims to take advantage of Turkey's situation on the ground in Idlib at present, in order to prolong the survival of the opposition and benefit from it, as it does not plan to withdraw from Idlib in which dozens of military observation points were established, nor from other border areas with a depth of 40 km Therefore, it is working to control the entire region in cooperation with a unified army of factions, which will also lead to a change in the balance between the opposition and the regime.

In the same context, yesterday, Turkish forces established a new military point in the village of Bassamis in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, bringing the number of Turkish points in the "De-escalation" region that includes parts of Idlib, Aleppo, Hama and Lattakia to 59 points.

Al-Arab: Mercenary elements in Libya rebel against Turkish officers

Al-Arab newspaper touched upon the situation in Libya and said, "The gap widened between the Syrian mercenaries and the foreigners who were plunged by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan into fierce battles in Libya, and their Turkish officers and militia leaders affiliated with accord government headed by Fayez al-Sarraj, in a remarkable development deepening the unprecedented state of restlessness and resentment." Libyan security sources told "Al-Arab", the skirmishes occurred in the wake of a series of random field withdrawals of mercenaries in more than one combat axis, and took place mainly in the axis of al-Hadabah, between groups of mercenaries and the "Central Support - Abu Salim" militia led by Abdul-Ghani al-Kakli, known as " Ghanwa”, and in the axis of Salah al-Din between the mercenaries and the 301th battalion previously known as "al-Halbous” battalion led by Abd al-Salam al-Zoubi.

The central support militia is stationed in the Abu Salim area of ​​the capital, Tripoli, and the plateau, and parts of the airport road, while the 301th battalion, which is one of the most militias joined by mercenaries, is stationed in parts of al-Hadabah and Crime Project, Bab Bin Ghashir, Salah al-Din, and Khallet al-Farjan, and a number of other locations southwest of the capital Tripoli ".

Al-Bayan: The coalition: 1,096 Houthi violations of the cease-fire in Yemen

Regarding the cease-fire in Yemen, Al- Bayan newspaper said, "The Legitimacy Support Alliance in Yemen confirmed, yesterday evening Sunday, that the Houthi militia carried out 1,096 violations of the cease-fire in Yemen.

The coalition clarified that the breaches included hostilities, the use of light and heavy weapons and ballistic missiles.

The coalition indicated, according to Sky News Arabia, its continued commitment to the cease-fire and support the efforts of the Special Envoy to Yemen.
