Danish parties: Attack on Makhmour was carried out to kill civilians

The Green and Red Party and the Danish Socialist People's Party issued a written statement condemning the Turkish occupation state’s aerial bombing on Makhmur, on the 15th of this April.

The camp, located in the south of Hewler Province in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan), contains about 12,000 refugees.

The statement was signed by Eva Flevolme, the spokesperson for the foreign relations of the Green Party and the Red Union, and confirmed that three civilians were killed in the attack.

In its statement, the party stated that during the struggle of all countries of the world against the Coruna virus, such an attack was carried out, and called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to investigate the attack.

The deputy leader of the Socialist People's Party, Cerdal Benley, said that the attack was carried out directly to kill civilians.

According to Benley, most of the civilians targeted in the attack were refugees who had to migrate from their homes in northern Kurdistan, due to the oppression of the Turkish regime and taking refuge in Makhmour camp, indicating that Turkey should be warned to adhere to the United Nations agreement.
