Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will discuss via phone the situation in Syria today, Tuesday.

For his part, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said that the two presidents will make a phone call about the situation in the Syrian city of Idlib.

These developments come after the failure of the Russian-Turkish talks for the second time on the situation in Idlib.
