More families displace from Ain Issa countryside

The Turkish occupation is seeking to bring about demographic change in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, by launching more brutal attacks to push the people to displace, to facilitate the occupation process, and within the framework of these attempts, it began to launch an attack on the regions of northern Syria in October 9, 2019 and is still continuing to Today.

As a result of the attacks, Turkey and its mercenary groups occupied the areas of Serekaniye (Ras al-Ain), and Girê Spi (Tel Abyad), which led to the displacement of more than 300 thousand civilians from those areas, and took refuge in the safer southern regions, including Arisha.

Recently, as a result of the continued attacks on Ain Issa district, 12 other families were forced to flee from Ain Issa countryside towards Arisha district in the Hasaka canton’s countryside.

Today, the 12 families live in an area near Arisha district at a random camp they set up on an agricultural plot, hoping to return to their homes soon.

One of the displaced women, Fatima Muhammad, says: "The reason for our displacement is the continued attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the countryside of Ein Issa." Fatima Mohamed complains about their poor living conditions after leaving their homes to escape the crimes of the occupation and its mercenaries.

Fatima Muhammad dreams of returning to their villages and homes soon, after expelling the Turkish occupation from them.

On the other hand, Aisha Al-Fahal, on the tragic story of their displacement, says: "We did not leave our homes until after the intensification of the mercenary attacks on the areas of Girê Spi/ Tel Abyad, Serekaniye and others."

Aisha appealed to humanitarian organizations to help them, as they live in random camps.
