Aldar Khalil: Turkey seeks to cut other parts of Syria, Syrian dialogue ensures ending occupation

The People’s Assembly in Tel Hamees district organized a meeting on Monday, and it was attended by the people of the district, the members of civil society institutions and the towns affiliated with it, and the member of the Executive Body of the Democratic Society Movement Aldar Khalil on the occasion of the 21^st anniversary of the international conspiracy that targeted that Leader Abdullah Ocalan on February 15, 1999, and to explain the latest political developments on the internal level of Syria.

Aldar Khalil, the member of the Executive Body of the Democratic Society Movement spoke during the meeting and said: "Several countries are conflicting within Syria for their interests, and the Syrian people are afflicted with these countries and the ongoing war."

Aldar Khalil explained that among the conflicting countries in Syria is Turkey which is trying to cut new lands from Syria after Iskenderun at the beginning of the last century, and the occupation of Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, and said: "Now it intends to complete its occupation project in public, and this was shown when Erdogan held the map at the United Nations Council in front of all world Leaders who did not move."

Khalil pointed out that whatever stopped Erdogan at least temporarily was the resistance shown by the people of the regions of north and east Syria, and the popular resistance that they showed from inside and abroad.

Khalil also indicated that the negotiations that will take place between Damascus and the Autonomous Administration will block the road to internal conflicts and wars if completed in the required form, and noted: "If the two parties can reach an agreement, it will result in stopping external interferences, ending the Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands, and exiting it from the territories it occupied such as Afrin, Ras al-Ain, Jarablus, al-Bab and others."

Regarding the conspiracy planned against the Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Khalil said: "We live black days; the passing of the kidnapping anniversary of the Leader Ocalan in an international piracy operation." He noted that the Leader Ocalan is a struggler symbolizes the unity of peoples, the democratic nation’s philosophy and the democratic struggle.

Khalil affirmed that capturing the Leader Ocalan is a message to all peoples, stating: "Do not face the global dominating regimes."

At the end of the meeting, discussions took place among the attendees who denounced the conspiracy against the Leader Ocalan, affirming that during the practical application of the democratic nation’s ideology in northern Syria, they have been living in peace and brotherhood since several years.
