The spokesman for the ruling Justice and Development Party in Turkey Omer Glick said in press statements he made on Monday: "The bombing of the Syrian regime's sites is continuing intensively without interruption in response to the killing of five Turkish soldiers in Idlib attack."

About Turkey's adherence to the occupation of the Syrian lands, Glick said: "The withdrawal of the Turkish forces from the observation points in Idlib is out of the question."

Glick told the reporters in Ankara, answering a question: Does Turkey expect NATO support in connection with the worsening situation in Idlib? "We are in constant contact with NATO, and holding consultations with NATO; over Syria," adding: "Turkey is waiting for NATO to be with it in the war against terrorism, and NATO must be in solidarity with it."
