Iranian Army: Ready to stand up to America until its destruction

This came in the statements of spokesperson of  the Iranian armed forces, Brig. Gen. Abu al-Fadl Shakraji, in a speech during a ceremony commemorating the martyrs of Bharstan city, in Isfahan province, in Friday evening.

 The Iranian military spokesman said U.S. forces have suffered heavy losses in the Iranian forces attacks on Ain al-Assad military base, and will acknowledge these losses in the coming days.

"They have suffered heavy losses in our attack on Ain al-Assad, and they will admit these losses in the coming days and they cannot hide the heavy losses they have suffered,"

 Shakraji said. "We don't want to kill people, and we wanted to make America realize that we're not like other countries," the spokesman said.

" we are not only standing at the negotiating table, we are ready to stand up to America until it is permanently destroyed," he said.

 U.S.-Iran relations are strained and escalated, in the background of the withdrawal of U.S. President Donald Trump from the 2015 nuclear deal with Tehran, and then after the attack on two oil tankers in Oman Gulf. Washington blamed Tehran for the attack then, while Iran denied the accusations.
