Regime Foreign Ministry: Erdogan lies continuously to protect terrorist groups

The Foreign Ministry of the Syrian regime confirmed today, that the statements of the head of the Turkish regime, Erdogan reaffirms the approach of lying, misinformation and maneuvering that governs his policies. He does not respect any commitment or agreement. The ministry pointed out that what Erdogan is doing is to protect his means of the terrorist groups.

"Syria denounces insistence of the Turkish regime president Erdogan on lying and misleading about his behavior in Syria, especially his claim regarding the entry of his forces into northern Aleppo under the Adana anti-terrorism agreement," an official source in the foreign ministry of the Syrian regime said.

"Syria confirms that the Adana agreement entails coordination with the Syrian government as an agreement between two states. Therefore, Erdogan cannot act unilaterally," the source added.

The source stressed that the statements of the Turkish regime head reaffirmed the approach of lying, misleading and prevarication governing its policies and its lack of respect for any commitment or agreement, whether within the framework of Astana, Sochi understandings or the obligations of the Adana Agreement.

The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan renewed today his threats to the Syrian regime and asked to withdraw to the back of what is known as Turkish checkpoints until the end of February, threatening to launch an attack.
