Iranian forces launched this morning a missile attack on two bases where the American forces and the international coalition are stationed in Iraq, in response to the killing of Qassem Soleimani.

Iran had stated that it would respond to the American attack that killed the Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani on January 3.

Today, at dawn today, Iranian forces launched a ballistic missile attack on two bases where the American forces and the international coalition are stationed in Iraq.

The first missile attack targeted the Ain al-Assad air base, which is located in Anbar Province, western Iraq.

While the second attack targeted a military base at Holler Airport, in the Başûr region of "south Kurdistan", in which the international coalition forces, including American forces, are stationed.

The attack, according to the Pentagon, was carried out by 12 missiles, while Fox News said the attack was through 15 missiles.

Media reported that Iran had stated that 80 US forces were killed during the attack on the two bases.
