TEV-DEM: We have no alternative to resistance against Turkish fascism led by Sultan of Terrorists Erdogan

The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) issued a statement to the public opinion, on the practices of the Turkish occupation in Afrin and the rest of the occupied territories, and the international silence towards these practices, calling on everyone to stand up to these crimes practiced by the terrorist rogue state, which is led by international terrorist Erdogan, and distributes terrorism to Europe and Libya and the world.

The text of the statement read:

International law defines forced displacement: it is the illegal evacuation of a group of individuals and residents from the land on which they reside, and it includes war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity.

According to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, "the deportation or forcible transfer of populations, whenever committed in the context of a widespread, or systematic attack directed against any group of the civilian population, constitutes a crime against humanity."

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 prohibited the forcible or mass transfer of persons, or exile them from their areas of residence to other lands, except when this was in their interest in order to spare them the dangers of armed conflicts.

What the Turkish terrorist state is doing in Afrin and the rest of the regions exceeds all limits. All practices according to international law are part of war crimes, which requires bringing the perpetrators to international justice. The demographic change in Afrin and the rest of the regions did not end there, but rather reached a limit The genocide outside the borders by besieging al-Shahba area - inhabited by unarmed civilians displaced from Afrin, under harsh living conditions without any assistance from international organizations, who stand by and watch those who resisted and defeated terrorism on behalf of the whole world, waiting to return to their lands.

The Turkish state of terrorism did not adhere to even the simplest international laws, as international laws criminalize any change that the occupying power makes in the landmarks of the occupied region, from customs and traditions, effects, nature, history and language, which reveals the intentions of the Turkish state of terrorism are its practices on the ground, it intends to tighten Its grip on Afrin, its deduction  from the Syrian geography and its annexation of Turkey, and this is considered a state aggression against the sovereignty of another country, and with demographic change, it is a war crime against humanity.

Afrin is the land of the 18 million olive trees, which are considered a symbol of Afrin, which is cut and burned, to force its people to leave their land.

 The Turkish state of terrorism plans to transform Afrin into an emirate of terrorism in the name of Islam and make it as destination for this criminal trend, a place for training and exporting terrorism to the world and blackmailing Europe and the rest of the Arab and Middle Eastern world, and making them negotiations papers with many countries, as an initial example of Libya.

The international silence is considered to be a partner in this war crime, and as we hold the international community full legal and moral responsibility, but we in the Democratic Society Movement hold primarily the United Nations and the Russian Federation the largest part of it, because of their direct role in the war crime in Afrin, so, we call on the whole world, to stand up to this rogue terrorist state led by international terrorist Erdogan, and distribute terrorism to Europe, Libya and the world, and we also call on the Syrian state to implement its constitutional and national duty to attack its sovereignty, and to file a lawsuit in the International Criminal Court Perpetrators of war crimes against the Syrian citizens of the state.

 We also call on our people everywhere to continue the peaceful and condemned activities that expose the practices of terrorists against our people, by all peaceful means and in all arenas, there is no alternative for us to resist everywhere, and there is no other way but resistance in the war of existence against Turkish fascism led by Sultan Erdogan terrorists. "
