​​​​​​​Turkey's mercenaries launch a violent attack on southern countryside of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that mercenary groups affiliated with Turkey carried out a violent attack on areas advanced by regime forces in the southeastern countryside of Idlib during the past few days.

Violent clashes are taking place between the two parties, on the axes of al-Tah and Jarjnaz, amid intense and violent bombardments, carried out by mercenary gangs since the morning, in an attempt to restore progress in the region and restore the town and the village, while regime aircraft and Russia are still absent from the air.

The Syrian regime forces, with Russian support, had taken control of several regions following an attack that had begun after the failure of the Constitutional Committee and Astana meetings, but calm had returned to the fronts after a meeting held in Moscow between delegations of Russia and Turkey and the regime.

Sources have spoken that Turkey has sought to improve its conditions by handing the M5 international route to Syrian regime forces, and Turkish forces and their mercenaries remaining north of the road.

As a result, mercenary gangs have already withdrawn from the surrounding of the international road, and regime forces have advanced to areas where Turkish observation positions are located.
