Syrian regime declares of failure Russian- Turkish's agreements; Erdogan gives order to transfer mercenaries to Libya 

On Wednesday morning, the Arab newspapers touched upon Russian- Turkish disputes over Syria, as well as to the Libyan situation. 

Al-Sharq al-Awsat: Al-Moallem: Moscow, Ankara agree on Idlib, failure, and the military option is the alternative

In this context, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper said, "Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Mouallem made remarkable statements in the Russian capital, in which he referred to the failure of Russian-Turkish understandings about Idlib, and said that the military option has become an alternative to it. He criticized the" Sochi Agreement "signed between Ankara and Moscow in last October, on the areas of northern Syria, and reduced the possibility of launching a dialogue between Damascus and Ankara, pointing to the "uselessness" of that.

Although al-Moallem began his speech by referring to Syria's desire to reinforce the presence of Russian companies and obtaining rewarding contracts, but in the political files he directed strong criticism of the Moscow and Ankara agreement on establishing a demilitarized zone in Idlib, and al-Moallem said, the agreement signed in September 2018 “failed due to Turkey’s failure to implement its obligations,” adding that “the military option is the alternative,” referring to the military operations currently underway in Idlib.

Al-Moallem touched on another agreement signed by Presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi last October, after the start of Turkish military operations, and aimed at halting the Turkish incursion into Syrian territory, and arranging for the situation in northern Syria. He said that this agreement "is still in place", but it is "a military agreement and did not guarantee an end to the Turkish occupation of Syrian lands." The Syrian minister noted Turkish policy in the region, which is based on demographic change. He said that Moscow and Tehran "did not provide guarantees that the Turkish presence is temporary", and that they "only provided assurance based on what Ankara says to its Russian and Iranian allies", noting that "demographic replacement, changing street names, and the introduction of Turkish educational curricula, all this does not indicate that the occupation Turkish is temporary.

Al-Ain: The Libyan army is advancing towards the center of Tripoli and repelling an attack by militias

On the Libyan issue, Al-Ain newspaper said, "Witnesses said that the Libyan army repelled an attack by Al-Sarraj militia near oil tanks south of the capital, Tripoli.

Al-Ain newspaper quoted sources in the capital Tripoli that the Libyan army launched a violent attack on the airport road leading to the Abu Salim neighborhood in the center of the capital Tripoli, which resulted in control of the gas depot on the airport road, and its arrival in the outskirt of oil tanks, in addition to the Libyan army seizing 4 vehicles carrying cannons (M I 14.5) and an armored vehicle believed to be one of the leaders of the militia.

Al-Bayan: Erdogan gives orders to transfer of terrorists from Syria to Libya

In turn, Al-Bayan newspaper quoted an expert in crisis management and pre-emptive wars, Dr. Akram al-Shali, that after the liberation of the Syrian army of the largest terrorist strongholds, a grouping of terrorists is now being conducted by order of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to send them with their families to Libya. Other groups will be resettled with their families.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi expressed his fears that successful military actions against terrorists in Syria and Iraq would lead to the infiltration of militants into the territory of Libya.
