A Syrian opponent: "Regime and coalition trying to run away from a real entitlement  of Kurdish rights"

Ali Rahmoun explained that the Syrian regime was trying to run away of a real entitlement of Kurdish rights, and to deal with them  in the context of procrastination with promises and return as before, pointing out that the so-called Syrian National Coalition had lost its legitimacy and turned into puppet in the hands of the Turks.

Syria's permanent envoy to the United Nations, Bashar al-Jaafari, said a few days ago, during a UN Security Council meeting on Syria, that there was  no problem with the Kurds in Syria. That was followed by an interview held by Hawar news agency with the Syrian opponent Ali Rahmoun.

Rahmoun said, "The Kurdish issue in Syria did not come to life today,  it started since the 1962 count after it was appeared that there were many Kurds without  nationality, full duties and rights." Rahmoun added, "There was an ignorance of the rights of the Kurdish component in Syria during history."

Rahmoun pointed out, “The Syrian regime is now trying to run away a real entitlement of the rights of Kurds who were treated unjustly twice; firstly, from tyranny as Syrian citizens, and secondly, as Kurds deprived of Syrian citizenship rights,” pointing out that he was not surprised that a tyrannical regime did not offer anything for his Syrian people in general and the Kurdish people in particular.

"The Syrian regime is trying to deal separately with the Kurds, trying to work with them, in a way we can call it compromises, reconciliations, promises and procrastination to return to practices and repression that were common  in the past, this is very important issue" he said.

As for the so-called Turkish-backed Syrian National Coalition, Rahmoun explained that the coalition had lost its Syrian national legitimacy and had become a complete  tool in the Turks’ hands, to serve only the Turkish occupying power; therefore, the Kurds had no relation with it at all.

He pointed at the end of his speech to the presence of the Kurdish National Council within the so-called coalition, saying, "It is important not to count on the coalition that has lost its legitimacy completely as a Syrian national constituent."
