Al-Abed reveals results meeting with Russian commanders in Ain Iss

Today, a delegation from the council and the people of GIRÊ SPî/ Tel Abyad canton met with Russian military commander at their base in Ain Issa district, during which the delegation presented a message and demands for the displaced of the occupied canton of Russia.

The co-chair of GIRÊ SPî/ Tel Abyad District Council, Hamid al-Abd, revealed the content of a meeting they gathered with Russian military leaders at a Russian base in Ain Issa, during a statement to Hawar news agency (ANHA).

The delegation was headed by Hamid Al-Abd and Haifa Ismail from the co-chair of the Tel-Abyed District Council, along with other representatives of the people of the district.

Hamid al-Abed explained that their meeting with the Russian generals was aimed at conveying the voice of the displaced in the occupied areas of the Russian government.

Hamid al-Abed indicated that they sent a message to the government in Russia that it is necessary to end the occupation, stop the violations in the occupied areas, stop the fire, open the international highway "M4" to the movement of civilians and secure the road, and ensure a safe return for the displaced families.

The co-chair of Tel-Abyed District Council indicated that the Russians saw their demands as right, and that the Russian forces would guarantee the agreements with the Turkish side.

Al-Abed described the results of the meeting and the response to the message positively, and said: "The results were positive, and will be effectively crystallized today through the withdrawal of the mercenaries and their Turkish support to a distance of 3 km north of the International Highway."

He continued, "Russian patrols will be conducted on the international road today to ensure withdrawal, and secure the road from Ain Issa to Tel Tamr."

Al-Abd pointed out during his speech that "these steps are a first stage, and will be followed by several stages in the future, which will be disclosed at an appropriate time through coordination with the Russian government."

During his talk to (ANHA) agency, Hamid al-Abed noted that "the issue of returning to the occupied area will not be with the survival of the Turkish forces and their mercenaries, the people settled their affairs in this regard and expressed their positions, and all these issues are discussed with all political and international forces affecting the scene. "

He concluded his speech by saying, "In addition to all of the above, we asked the Russian side to contribute to our involvement in the efforts to prepare the Syrian constitution and the Syrian political decision, as we are part of the land of Syria, and the response was positive, and all details will be announced during a period of time."
