"Free Women's Caravan" visits Serê Kaniyê

The "Free Woman's Caravan", has started its activities to receive the International Women's Day, where it visits the cities and areas of al-Hasakah canton. In this regard, it visited the city of Serê Kaniyê, where hundreds of members of institutions and civil centers and members of the Internal Security Forces gathered this morning at the Martyrs' roundabout of the city, to receive the caravan carrying pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan amid the slogans which were saluting women's resistance.

The caravan, which included dozens of cars stopped at Maitan roundabout and was welcomed by the city's women, Women's Protection Units(YPJ) and Internal Security Forces. The caravan headed towards Washokani roundabout on foot.

The activity began with holding a minute of silence, followed by delivering several speeches which welcomed all the participants in the caravan and congratulated International Women's Day on all women activists.

The speeches pointed out that with the thought and approach of Ocalan, women reached these developments, and promised to escalate the struggle until achieving the freedom of Ocalan.

The activity ended with slogans saluted women's resistance.
