Thousands of the Euphrates region's people have taken to streets in mass rally in Girê Spî/Tel-Abyed, denouncing the isolation imposed on the Kurdish people leader, expressing their solidarity with Leyla Guven's resistance and hunger strikers, under slogan "Resistance Is Life"

Thousands of the Euphrates region’s two cantons Girê Spî/Tel-Abyed and Kobani have gathered in Girê Spî before they launched in mass rally from al-Alam roundabout towards al-Qafas roundabout.

Massive crowds from the Euphrates region's people of all components, Kurds, Arabs, Armenians and Turkmens are marching as well as notables of clans where the Arab clans stood at the front lines to express denouncing the isolation on Ocalan, stressing the attitude of Arab clans towards the Turkish occupation's policies.

This demonstration came to denounce the isolation imposed on Ocalan and in solidarity with the hunger strikers who are demanding to lift the isolation, led by Kurdish parliamentarian Leyla Guven, who has been on hunger strike for almost three months.

The demonstration, which was launched just moments before the al-Alam roundabout south of Girê Spî city is expected to stop in the center of the city, where a number of speeches are scheduled to be delivered.
