Al Hasakah women confirm their support for Laila Guven

The Democratic Society Congress co-chair and Democratic Peoples’ Party's parliamentarian, Laila Guven, has been on a hunger strike for 89 days, to lift the isolation of the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan.

In this regard, women from Hasaka appealed to international states to consider the demands of Laila Guven and her colleagues, because their demands are the demands of all the Kurdish people.

Laila Bonjag, denounced the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said, “our voice will echo throughout the world, through our actions to lift the isolation of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan."

Laila stressed that they were in solidarity with the resistance of Laila Guven, while demanding that the world countries respond to their demands.

"The state of hunger strikers in Kurdistan and all over the world is deteriorating amidst a shameful international silence. Their situation should be considered and the isolation of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan should be considered," she said.

Sherin Hami confirmed that women of the city of Hasaka will not back down from their support for the cause the parliamentarian Laila Guven went on a hunger strike for till lifting the isolation of Ocalan.

"We have a strong will and a cause that we believe in and we will not back down from until isolation is lifted and the demands of Laila Guven are met," she said.
