KCDK-E: We have to struggle day, night to save strugglers' life

The joint presidency of KCDK-E released on Friday a statement to the public opinion, in which it highlighted the situation of the Kurdish activists who are on hunger strike in the prisons of the Turkish state, demanding to end the isolation on Abdullah Ocalan.

The statement included,

"The resistance that began under the slogan "End the Isolation and Destroy the Fascism" continues on its 86th day. The hunger strike that started from the co-chair of the Kurdistan Society Conference Leyla Guven which extended to the prisons and cities such as Hewler, Strasbourg, Canada and Mexmûr (Makhmour) continues with great determination. There are many hunger strikers on the brink of death. Today, because of the critical health situation of the co-chair of the Kurdistan Democratic Society Conference Yoksel Koj, she was transferred to the hospital.

At this stage, Leyla Guven, Nasir Yagiz, the prisons' detainees and the hunger strikers in Strasbourg and Klara are suffering from a difficult situation. These are the decision makers and they resist, but their bodies are thinning, and some of them have been approaching death. Our primary duty is to support the resistant people. We must deliver resistance to everywhere. Yoksel Koj and Leyla Guven live bad health status.

We appeal to our people and friends everywhere to protest. We may hear the news of death at any minute, before we hear it, we must demonstrate day and night, 24 hours continuously. We must save the lives of our comrades. Their lives are tied to breaking the isolation on the leader. They say, "As long as there is isolation, we are ready to do anything to break the isolation," so we must end the isolation and everyone must take part in the struggle to break the isolation. Yoksel Koj says, "They take me to the hospital, but I do not accept to receive the medical treatment as long as isolation is imposed on the leader. Our activities will last. We are ready to pay the price."
