On the initiative of the administrative body of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK), a meeting was held in Rojava on January 1, in which the dangers facing the region and the presence of the Kurdish people were discussed, and continuation of Turkish threats, stressing the need to unify the Kurdish ranks urgently to develop a Kurdish policy and strategy that protects the interests and existence of the Kurdish people in Rojava.

The meeting resulted in the formation of a committee of five members of the Kurdistan National Congress in Rojava. The committee's tasks are to communicate with all the Kurdish parties in Rojava without exception. In this sense, the committee has started its tasks and continues to visit all parties in Rojava to strengthen relations among them.

Supporting the National Congress will deter international conspiracies

Fatima Lakto, a member of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Afrin canton, praised the necessity of this step and its great role in supporting the Kurdish people in Rojava politically and diplomatically. This step will affect social and international relations at all levels.

Fatima pointed out that the differences and obstacles planted by the anti-people parties should be removed from the Kurdish parties in the region and that all the Kurdish people should support the Kurdistan National Congress because national unity will protect the gains made by the martyrs’ bloods.

Fatima stressed that the victories achieved in Rojava are historical victories, based on this, uniting the Kurdish people and political parties under one banner and slogan will deter aggression and international conspiracies.

Uniting the ranks will strengthen the revolution

For her part, The Co-chair of Yezidis Union in Afrin canton, Suad Hasso has joined the initiative of the Kurdistan National Congress, "The revolution is a great opportunity that must be exploited positively. It is the stage of existence and the unification of the Kurdish people will provide the spirit and strength of the revolution." She said.

The National Congress will be the reference to our fateful decisions and the reduction of attacks

The official spokesman of Kongra Star in Afrin canton, Hevi Suleiman, saw the step of communication and strengthening of relations between the Kurdish political parties in Rojava as an opportunity and a historic step and would serve as a reference for decisions and decisive steps for the people of the region.

Hevi called on independent Kurdish figures and political parties in Rojava to unite and respond to the Kurdish National Congress in order to reduce the massacres and attacks targeting the Kurdish people.
