Sit-in is continuing in Serê Kanîyê on its 14th day

The sit-in continues at the border of Serê Kanîyê city on its 14th day with the participation of hundreds of members of the people's municipalities in al-Jazeera region.

The people of northern Syria have been holding a sit-in for 14 days at the Turkish border in Serê Kanîyê city of al-Hasakah, where the people stand as human shields in front of the Turkish occupation army, rejecting the threats to occupy northern and eastern areas of Syria.

On the 14th day, the members of the people's municipalities of al-Jazeera region participated in the sit-in activity, emphasizing their categorical rejection of the threats.

The co-chair of al-Hasakah Canton Council Abed al-Ghani Osso said, "This time, we will continue to fight against any attacks targeting our regions, and the peoples of the region do not trust anybody but their strength and will."

A speech was delivered on behalf of the Western District Council in al-Hasaka city by Ramadan Fathi who stressed the continuation of the sit-in and said, "14 days have passed since the activity of human shields sit-in in Serê Kanîyê city."
