Two meetings in Lebanon to denounce Turkish threats

Members of the Kurdish community in Lebanon participated in two separate meetings to discuss the latest developments in Syria and the threats of the Turkish occupation state against the northern and eastern regions of Syria.

BEIRUT

The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) organized two separate meetings in the Lebanese capital Beirut and in the town of Zahle in al-Bekaa province, where dozens of members of the Kurdish community in Lebanon participated.

During the meeting, Abdulsalam Ahmed spoke on behalf of Democratic Autonomous Administration and Salim Mulla, member of (TEV-DEM)

The statements made at the two meetings pointed to the Turkish role in destabilizing Syria and its hostility to the peoples of northern Syria in particular.

The statement condemned the recent Turkish threats against the northern and eastern regions of Syria. It also condemned the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan. The statement called on the peoples demanding freedom and the United Nations to put pressure on Turkey to stop its attacks against the people of northern and eastern Syria. The speeches saluted the resistance of the struggler Leyla Guven.
