Turkey poses threat to Syria ... Syrian Government must confront it

On Dec. 12, Erdogan threatened to launch an attack on northern and eastern Syria to occupy it. A member of the Executive Committee of the Syriac Union Party, Afram Issac, said in an interview with Hawar News Agency that the threats constitute a threat to the entire Syrian territory.

A member of the Executive Committee of the Syriac Union Party Afram Issac said that the Turkish threats are serious threats, and that Erdogan threatens from time to time the northern and eastern regions of Syria and poses a threat to the entire Syrian territory, because our regions are an integral part of Syria as a geographical and people.

Afram Issac noted the aspirations of the Turkish state to revive the Ottoman Empire again in the region.

He added that all the political, social and civil forces must be united to defend the region by all legitimate means, and we must not be dragged behind the strife."

Afram Issac said, "when the Turkish state attacked Jrablos city and occupied it the Kurds were not present, so Erdogan's occupation project targeting the entire geography of Syria, and to face this occupation we must be one force in a comprehensive national concept in which all the forces of all spectrums united to protect our people from the Turkish threats."

Afram Issac added at the end of his speech that Turkey poses a threat to the Syrian sovereignty, and the occupation of Jrablos and al-Bab and Azaz is a good example.

 Ishaq concluded and said that therefore, Syrian government and all national forces must work to confront the Turkish threats, because Turkey is an occupying state of the Syrian territory.
