12 regime forces Killed, 9 injured by Turkish mercenaries' shelling

Three members of the regime's forces were killed and nine wounded in a bombardment of mercenary gangs over the past day on the provinces of Aleppo, Hama and Lattakia, as the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria said on Saturday evening.

The statement added that "the attack on Tel Mamu, killing two Syrian soldiers and wounding nine others. The attack on the south-western sides of Aleppo resulted in the death of one soldier. "

On 17 September, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed to establish a demilitarized zone in four provinces: Aleppo, Hama, Idlib and Latakia, in order to spare the Turkish-backed victory front from a military operation in which the regime's forces and allies were preparing.

According to the agreement, Turkey which is the guarantor of the mercenary gangs in that region have to withdraw heavy weapons from the hands of the mercenaries from there until 10 October, and to withdraw later mercenaries from that region until 15 October, but it did not implement the terms of the agreement.

Since the first day of the declaration of the agreement, clashes and mutual bombardments between the regime's forces and Turkish mercenaries have not stopped in that area.

Russia has repeatedly stated that its ally Turkey has not been able to implement the agreement in the region controlled by the mercenaries of Hayat Tahrir al- Sham (formerly Jabhit al-Nusra, which is classified as international terrorism).
