The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are still continuing their efforts to change the population structure in Afrin by limiting the presence of indigenous peoples.

According to sources from inside Afrin, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries forced the people of Afrin to go to mercenary centers to registration of each family.

According to the source, the occupation forces the people to registration the number and names and ages of family members in Afrin, in addition to personal photographs of each person of the age of 11.

According to the sources, the aim of these measures is to limit and diminsh the presence of Kurds in Afrin and preparing to seize the property of the people who were forced to displace out of Afrin due to Turkish occupation.

In a related context, a source from Shia district said that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries impose on the people who are wishing to plow their land and trim olive trees pay 500 SY pounds each time they go to their land.
