Turkey, its mercenaries change identity of Afrin systematically

On the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights, under the motto "No to the Turkish Occupation and Its Violations in Afrin", the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria organized a protest in front of the United Nations Organization Building in Qamishlo against the practices of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against flagrant violations to human rights in Afrin. The Human Rights Organization in al-Jazeera region also made a statement on the International Day of Human Rights, which marks on December 10 each year under the United Nations resolution (217,000) of 1948.

The participants were representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, Sara Organization against Violence against Women, Kongra Star, Human Rights Organization in al-Jazeera region, and commanders and members of the political parties. The participants carried banners in addition to the pictures of the victims of the massacres committed by the Turkish occupation army against the children, women and civilians of Afrin and the flags the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria, Yekitî, Kongra star, Sara Organization against Violence against Women, and the Human Rights Organization.

The deputy of the party's secretary Mustafa Meshaikh spoke and noted that this is the 70th anniversary of the International Day for Human Rights, the day on which the United Nations placed a declaration of human rights to protect them in all parts of the earth, and explained that one of the most important items according to that everyone lives his life its the national nature without suppressing its rights in all its aspects.

Mustafa stressed that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are changing the Kurdish identity in Afrin according to a systematic racist plan. Mustafa called on all United Nations organizations to put an end to the Turkish violations and put pressure on the Turkish regime and its allies to withdraw from Afrin.

The Human Rights Organization also made a statement in front of the United Nations Building, read by a member of the organization Khaleda Issa who said, "As the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that spread publicly under United Nations General Assembly resolution 217 /A (D 3) which was dated on December 10-1948 came, we returns to the circle of humanitarian concern the rights of all members of the human family and the means of international protection of them in a legal system which is divided between the United Nations Charter of 1945. the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights of 1966, the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and its Protocols of 1966.

The statement added , "The violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from its preamble to its thirtieth articles in full will constitute a global escalation on the level of violation against the rights, and the role of dictatorial regimes in this regard is clear. The first example is the Turkish state which occupies large areas directly and indirectly of the Syrian territories, especially Afrin on 18/3/2018."

The statement pointed out that the Turkish state was turned into a large prison which does not know equality in dignity and rights, and acts with discrimination because of race, color, sex, language, religion, political and non-political opinion, national and social origins, wealth and birth, and it does not recognize the individual's right of life, liberty and security and practices methods of subjecting the individual to torture, fascist treatment and cold-blooded murder ".

The Human Rights Organization in al-Jazeera confirmed that it documented that the Turkish state killed 257 civilians in Afrin, including 36 women, 176 men and 45 children, wounded 742 civilians; 113 women, 516 men and 113 children, raped 55 women, displaced 350,000 civilians and kidnapped 50 woman, 560 men and 13 children.
