Cultural Dialogue forum for young women is held at level of Syria

The forum is being held in al-Nokba restaurant  in al-Azizia neighborhood in al-Hasakah city by attending 200 young women from various Syrian regions,as well as the Co-chair od Syria Democratic Council SDC Amin Omar , the head of Executive Council Body of  SDC Elham Ahmed, the head of the General Council of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria Siham Qariou.

The forum was decorated with pictures of women's personalities who fought for women's rights and pictures of heritage objects , as well as banners written on it "We started with the youth ,We will  win with the youth". "If women are not liberated, society will not be liberated."

Discussions at the Forum, which is expected to continue till Monday evening, will be on women and culture and their role in society.

The administrator in Syria Democratic Council Rana al-Ahmed delivered speech, stressing the importance of the forum in focusing on the rele of women and preserving their culture .

The Co-Chair of Syria Democratic Council SDC Amina Omar delivered speech , pointing that the women in north and east of Syria have gained great knowledge during the revolution and eliminated outdated customs and traditions and undertook to protect society in all fields.

Amina also discussed the latest developments in the Syrian arena. "All the talk about the solution in Syria is a transitional necessity. All the countries that are involved in the crisis are trying to pass their policies and achieve their goal. Turkey, which is known throughout its history as its ambitions for the lands of countries, A balance between the active forces to gain satisfaction and the occupation of Syrian territory. "

She pointed out that their project of Autonomous Administration is the best solution to the Syrian crisis ,noting that there is talk about the formation of a committee of the Constitution and continued: " We can not formulate a new Syrian constitution compatible with the demands and hopes of the Syrian people, but our participation that we have proved the democracy of our project and the concept we apply."

The head of the General Council for Autonomous Administration of north and east Syria, Siham Qariou, pointed out that women in North Syria have proved to the world that they are a model of women's strength and will and co-existence by breaking masculine mentality and building to Autonomous Administration.

And added "The success of our work has made our project expand and attending of young women from different regions in Syria in this forum is proof of that in building a democratic Syria."

In her turn, the administrator of Martyrs Families' Council Somia Mohammed has congratulated for holding the forum and wished the Young women the best in defending the rights of women and looking forward to seeing more successes in their struggle.

The Forum is still continuing to deliver speeches and lectures on the history of the culture of the peoples of the area .
