She supports her family with her simple work refusing to surrender

She was enforced to leave her home as a result of the mercenaries' practices that deprived them of their right to live, but despite the conditions of displacement, she did not give up and began to support her family through selling sweets and food on the road.

IS mercenaries and by their occupation of any area, they exercise the most unethical practices against the people and deprive them of their right of life, so the residents have to leave their homes and all their possessions behind them, but they face the pain of displacement and lack of shelter amid the ignorance of the organizations, but their will in living free life is stronger than the mercenaries schemes and the pain of displacement and one of these displaced people who refuse to surrender to the hardships of life is the mother Fatima al-Ahmad from the village of al-Salhiya.

Fatima's 51-year-old family consist of 10 children and her old husband, who is suffering from many diseases, after their displaced from their village towards the areas liberated by Syrian Democratic Forces, she is living in a school with her family, and due to the difficult circumstances which Fatima has faced and the difficulty in insuring livelihood, Fatima did not give up and decided to work.

Fatima works on a small sidewalk on the roadside selling sweets to the children at nominal price. She said in this regard "IS mercenaries had prevented us of our rights in life and had exercised the most heinous practices."

She said "Because of my husband's illness and the small age of my children, I decided not to give up and not to succumb to the harsh conditions of life, so I started to work on the road,"

She added "I will stay here and will not surrender until the liberation of all regions from IS mercenaries, and we will return to our homes, our will is stronger than the practices of IS"
