First time in Kingdom history, Saudi women work in Justice Ministry

Saudi Arabia's Okaz newspaper reported that female employees who first entered the ministry's history after announcing their jobs last year began their work in five fields that were "exclusive for men."

The five fields of work varied between "social researcher, forensic researcher, legal researcher, administrative assistant, and first software developer."

The staff recently completed the training program, which was prepared by the women's administration, which was developed in the new structure of the Justice Ministry, with the approval of the Ministers' Council to keep abreast of the Ministry's rapid development in several aspects, including the empowerment of Saudi women, and giving her career opportunities which were exclusive for men.

According to the newspaper, women employees work in courts and notaries in the receiving and counseling units, managing case sheets and appointments, family reconciliation and counseling units in the personal status courts, as well as new departments to receive and follow up complaints from the beneficiaries and digital technology departments.
