Afrin children express their love for Ocalan through drawing

After preparations for a month by the Golden Crescent Movement for Culture and Art in Afrin canton, the exhibition "Children of Afrin" opened on Sunday at Serdem camp hall in al-Shahba canton under the slogan "With the Freedom of the Peoples' Leader Abdullah Ocalan, We Will Liberate Afrin.

During the exhibition, the Golden Crescent Movement for Culture and Art presented more than 500 drawings by Afrin children in all villages and districts of al-Shahba canton, in addition to the children of Berxwedan and Serdem camps and the children of ​​Şêrawa district in Afrin canton.

The exhibition hall was decorated with banners have written down "future buds" from the volcano, the Kurds have been born, in the spirit and the children's hands we will triumph. In the spirit of innocent childhood, we will resist for Afrin. With the children's hope, we will return to Afrin, my home is a bag and my bag is a homeland between shrapnel and rain."

The exhibition started with a screening of short film prepared by members of the Golden Crescent during the drawing of the children and expressing their opinions by choosing drawings and their meaning.

The drawings included different expressions, such as drawing the image of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and a bird freed from its cage. The child who has drawn it expressing his wish for the departure of the leader Ocalan from Imrali prison, for his part, another child drew a candle, and said that Ocalan is a candle lighting the way of peoples.

The highlight of the exhibition is the drawing of many children to a bright and enlightening sun, referring to the fact that Ocalan is the sun of freedom for all the peoples, as well as other drawings of pictures of olive trees, houses, monuments and the name of Afrin canton in Kurdish and Arabic.

The exhibition will continue until late today, and is scheduled to be visited by hundreds of Afrin residents, members of civil institutions, communes and the children's families who have drawn the drawings.
