MSD: Dialogue is essential to resolve Syrian issues, liberation, construction continues

On the occasion of the 3-year anniversary of the establishment of Syrian Democratic Council (MSD), the Council released on Sunday a public statement stating that they continue to struggle for liberation and building, to work for the liberation of Afrin, and to build democratic nation's project and achieve fraternity of peoples.

The text of the statement:

In commemoration of the third anniversary of the establishment of the Syrian Democratic Council as the first democratic national project, we would like to emphasize in MSD that our battle for liberation and construction is continuing with the increasing insistence on exerting more effort to keep Syria united. Through working on the unity of all forces and the collection of all Syrian components, and unifying the word asserting their rights in a nation that respects rights and is based on equality and social justice, a home in which women can participate in politics and administration and achieve equity for all.

In the context of the policies of the Syria Democratic Council, SDF managed to liberate large areas under domination of Daesh, and still chasing them in their last pocket in Hajin town, and accompanied the battle of liberation, the establishment of civil and service councils to achieve security and stability, the most recent establishment of the administration of north and east Syria In accordance with the decentralized democratic system that we seek for Syria in the future, and the council's initiatives to unite the democratic and secular opposition and completed meetings of Syria of great importance at the political and community level in the city of "Ain Issa" we are seeking to complete other meetings to reach a national conference, through which the process of peace and construction and we took from the dialogue a way and a basic way to resolve all Syrian issues, and believing that we accepted to negotiate in Damascus because we are convinced that the solution would be between the Syrians themselves, Damascus, the capital, must be democratic and the true life of all Syrians should flourish, as well as effective participation of all in political life, and the elimination of tyranny through peaceful transition and political process under the supervision of the international community.

So far, over the last three years, the Syria Democratic Council has been able to play a great role in the political arena through the project it launched in the liberated areas of terrorism, ending tyranny and becoming an important part of the political process.

On this occasion, we extend our warmest congratulations to the Syrians, parties, institutions and independents within the framework of MSD, wishing them success in reaching an end to the devastating war that has engulfed our beloved homeland Syria, and we call upon the mercy of the martyrs of the righteous, and asking safety for their families, and appealed to the hands of our fighters on the battlefields. We will work together to achieve the liberation of Afrin, the victim of a conspiracy that we will never forget, and we will continue to work to build democratic nation's project and achieve the fraternity of the peoples.
